2020 marks the 40th Anniversary of the Handweavers Guild of Cork and as part of our celebrations, Tapestry Artist Extroirdinare, Fiona Hutchison will be sharing her love of all things weaving with us later this month.
A founding member of the European Tapestry Forum and STAR (Scottish Tapestry Artists regrouped), Fiona’s work has been shown worldwide and has appeared in several publications.
Citing the sea as being enormously important in her life, Fiona views her subject as the sea, with materials and medium as the textiles.
Find out more about Fiona and her work on her website here.
The talk will take place at 12pm on March 28th 2020 in the Bishopstown Library. Lasting approximately 45 minutes, with time for questions after.
Numbers are limited and tickets are available via Eventbrite here.
