Our February meeting was held in Bishopstown Library on Saturday, 16th February 2019.
It was a very busy meeting and we were thrilled to welcome several new members. Is it too early to celebrate that news about our group is beginning to spread?

Sorry. really I am, it was just too good an opportunity to pass up.
It’s not really the world, not even Ireland, but we’re hoping to attract a few spinners, weavers or dyers.
The guild first meeting of every year is given over to our AGM and was held in Bishopstown Library on Saturday, 19 January 2019, followed by a meal in The Wilton Steak Bar & Carvery.
The AGM provides a great opportunity to recount the guild’s achievements in the previous year and lay out some plans for the coming months.
Well this is a little embarrassing 😳
I’ve just sat down to write a quick post about our January AGM and have realised that I forgot to post about the fantastic workshop we had with Katherine Walsh back in October 2018.
Maureen, one of our members led a wonderful workshop on Pin Weaving at our September meeting. Ten members were able to make it on the day; Heather, Gerda, Frances, Mary, Olywn, Tish, Maureen, Lora and her friend Lucy, and Margaret.
Our last meeting was held in Bishopstown Library on Saturday, 21 July 2018. The following members attended the meeting: Heather, Gerda, Gwen, Olywn, Tish, Maureen and Margaret.
