On the beautiful sunny morning of March 23rd, fourteen members of the guild enthusiastically gathered to explore more about spinning and weaving, including a demonstration on joining two wefts ends.

Our February meeting was held in Bishopstown Library on Saturday, 16th February 2019.
It was a very busy meeting and we were thrilled to welcome several new members. Is it too early to celebrate that news about our group is beginning to spread?

January 2019 – Plans
The guild first meeting of every year is given over to our AGM and was held in Bishopstown Library on Saturday, 19 January 2019, followed by a meal in The Wilton Steak Bar & Carvery.
The AGM provides a great opportunity to recount the guild’s achievements in the previous year and lay out some plans for the coming months.

Pin Weaving in September
Maureen, one of our members led a wonderful workshop on Pin Weaving at our September meeting. Ten members were able to make it on the day; Heather, Gerda, Frances, Mary, Olywn, Tish, Maureen, Lora and her friend Lucy, and Margaret.

Meet the Guild Members – The BSJ Addict

We’re an eclectic bunch of fibre enthusiasts, ready to try our hand at any crafts, especially those involving fibre. In the main we try to focus on weaving, spinning and dyeing, but as you might expect we all tend to enjoy lots of other pastimes.

Eco Dyeing Day
